Nice to meet you.

We are Dustin and Brianna, the makers behind Grit & Grace Artistry

  • We’ve known each other since we were 11, but we didn’t get married until four years ago.
  • In high school, we were voted Most Likely to Succeed.
  • He’s the engineer, she’s the artist.

When we married in 2016, we blended our families — we’ve got four kids ranging in age from 10 to 17.

Handcrafted.

Knowing that something was made by hand gives it a little extra meaning, doesn’t it? The thought that went into it, the planning, the picking of the materials, the craftsmanship. The entire process of creating is something sacred, an act of communion with our Maker. Whenever we make something, we leave a piece of ourselves in it.

Heartfelt.

The things we make have more than time poured into them. They are all made with love — which I know sounds cheesy and trite, but is the absolute truth here. Every time we make something, we pray over it while we create it. We think of the person who will wear it or use it or look at it, and we feel actual love for them. We are deeply touched whenever someone commissions us to make something for them or their loved ones. And when someone connects with a piece we’ve already made, we are overjoyed when it finds its way home.

Homestyle.

A house doesn’t become a home until you leave your mark on it. We believe that a home should contain the hearts of those who live there, that it should reflect a story of love and life and joy and sorrow. Your home should be your sanctuary, a beautiful blend of lovely and functional, personal and meaningful.
