Made from the barnwood stash with the sophistication of a wine drinker (not me) and the rawness of the South Dakota countryside (not so much me either). Using barnwood is great because it speaks for itself with no need for sanding or staining. The boards are a little curved so it was interesting trying to compensate for that when making the cuts for the L shapes.

I didn’t really have much to do with this project, except for consulting on the wine glass notches. And providing the wine. But I love the rustic charm of it! Oh…I did help dig around for barnwood on a farm in the middle of nowhere, South Dakota. I chatted with the woman who ran the farm with her husband, and it turns out her dad is from my little hometown in Pennsylvania! What are the odds?!
