Bedroom Makeover

So, I recognize that all this stuff might give one the impression that Brianna and I are somehow synchronized to the same wavelength in all things. However, we have a different perspective on the color red. So, now we have a cooler color combo in our room that we both enjoy. We also made a frame for our Valentine’s Day painting that is flanked by our wedding pictures and our bedroom really became ours!

When we got married and I first moved in, our bedroom walls were RED. Bright, angry, violent red. But Dustin had painted a design on the wall behind the bed, and had put a lot of work into it. I sucked it up and decided to just deal with the red. Untilllll…I got really sick. As I spent more and more time in bed, I found myself staring at angry red walls far too frequently. I needed a more tranquil, soothing space to rest and recuperate. We repainted, rearranged a bit, and hung new art above our bed that really brings it all together! (Stay tuned for the next phase of makeover, as my amazing husband is moving my craft stuff into our bedroom so I can access it!)
